Under today's economy, with emphasis upon installment buying, many people find themselves 'deep in debt'.

That is especially true now, because for many years, with our country's continuous expansion and growth, everyone had been inclined to feel 'tomorrow will be better than today'. So they bought on the ' buy now, pay later' plan.

Most, of course, were right. Their judgment was good and they were accumulating assets without obligating themselves to more than they could handle.

However, either through misfortune or mismanagement, many find themselves in financial trouble. Perhaps they overestimated their future income or underestimated their expenses or didn't plan at all. Now they have a problem of satisfying their creditors, and protecting their job and reputation.

Credit and Debt Assistance Center of America was founded as a nonprofit community agency to assist people in the field of family money management. It is not a collection agency, a charity organization or a lending institution.
